动作与情感的关系是舞动治疗和精神分析、动力学表达的核心，
也是这些流派区分于认知行为流派的重要依据。
早在古希腊时期，
人们就意识到，
人类的动机和反应建立在感知经验的动力之上。
人的动机根植于情感，
因此，意识和行为是受情感控制的。
当代神经科学研究了神经递质、内感受经验（感觉）、行为趋势（动作）等，
这使得人们能够深刻理解8个“情绪运行系统”。
达尔文、雅各布森、尼娜·布尔、西尔万·汤姆金斯等科学家的早期研究经验为这些现代的科学发现奠定了基础。

此次工作坊将在体验和理论两方面探索情绪理论的发展，
探索上述理论家的观察发现。
运用拉班动作分析和身心整合的方式，
非语言交流的理论在身心层面是更加有意义的。
工作坊将详细说明情绪在身体当中的经验，
并将此理论和心理咨询、精神分析、舞动治疗联系起来。

参加本次工作坊不需要任何先前经验。
参加过7月2-4日“自体心理学与舞动治疗”工作坊的学员们，
将加深对本次工作坊关于自体心理学理论当中的“情感”部分的理解，
此前我们只是简要阐明这个部分。
我们也会在课上展示相关案例，
这对于治疗的有效性也是非常关键的。

The connection between motion/action and emotion/affect is at the expressive heart of Dance Movement Therapy and Psychodynamic psychoanalysis. This is a distinctive and important departure from cognitive-behavioural approaches. Recognized as far back as ancient Greece, human motivation and responsivity relies on the dynamics of felt experience.
Because all human motivation is underpinned by emotion; thoughts and behaviours are then under the control of our feelings. Current research in neuroscience offers insight into eight ‘Emotional Operating Systems’ which are identified by specific neurotransmitters, interoceptive experiences (sensation), and action tendencies (movement). This modern view builds on earlier observations of Darwin, Jacobsen, Nina Bull, and Silvan Tomkins.

This workshop will take you on an experiential and theoretical journey through the development of affect theory exploring the work of the above-named theorists. Using Laban Movement Analysis and Bodymind Centering, this theory of nonverbal communication will become more meaningful at a bodymind level. The workshop will explicate the body-based experiences of affect and connect this theory to applications in psychotherapy, psychoanalysis and dance movement. therapy.
Although this workshop can be taken without any pre-requisite, those who have previously attended the “Introduction to Psychodynamic Support for DMT”, will experience greater clarification and deepening into material previously introduced at only a basic level in Self Psychological Postulate of “Feelings”. This workshop will also offer case studies in which an understanding of Affect theory was crucial to effective treatment.

Sandra maintains a clinical practice in Self-Psychologically-based psychodynamic psychotherapy, Dance Movement Therapy, and Somatic psychotherapy in Canberra, Australia. For over thirty years she has worked with issues such as complex trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, DID, OCD, personality disorders, and borderline presentations. Professional training in several body and movement therapies inform her clinical work, including cranial sacral therapy, massage and Bodymind Centering. Sandra is a Certified Laban Movement Analyst and lectures in graduate and tertiary level courses in Dance Movement and Somatic Psychotherapy. Sandra is an Associate Editor of the Journal for Body, Movement and Dance in Psychotherapy. She has had a number of articles published in peer-reviewed journals as well as chapters in books on psychotherapy and Dance Movement Therapy. She has spoken at international conferences and taught in the USA, Asia, and Australia.
